Towing Issues: towing, tow company, owner information

My daughters car was towed but registered in her father and mines name tow company waited almost ( four days less ) then 2 months to notify us as to where it was. We live in Oklahoma. How long does the tow company have to notify you that they have the vehicle ?

I did a quick search on your state's law and basically the certified letter should have been mailed no later than 15 days after the tow. The law reads, the tower must request for owner information within 72 hours after tow (3 days), the tax office has up to 5 days to respond, then the tower has up to 7 days to mail the vehicle registered owner.
