Towing Issues: Towing responsibility, storage fees, towing company

I was in an accident that wasnt my fault. I signed the title over to the towing company to avoid the expense of towing and storage fees. My car has been at the towing company for a month and three days. My car was valued at 1700 dollars the insurance company told me I would only receive 900 because the rest has to be payed to the towing company for towing and storage fees even though I signed the car over to avoid that Im still being charged. Is that legal? Do I need to hire a layer?

It doesn't sound like you're being ripped off to me, but you may want speak with the insurance adjuster to be sure that they understand the situation clearly. For the dollar amount you're talking about a lawyer wouldn't make sense. The case would be better suited to small claims if you really had to go that route.
