Towing Issues: Towing in North Las Vegas, rental lease agreements, snow birds

Question
I left my car with my friend at a gated community in North Las Vegas while i went away for 6 weeks. The community management company had my car towed for being parked in the same marked paking spot for several weeks in a row and it not being moved. According to my Uncle who is a lawyer, in VA there must be signs posted if your car can be towed for any reason. There are no visitor pass requirements for the community as far as i am aware. Are there any regulations in NV similar to the ones in VA about there needing to be towing signs posted in areas?

Answer
Well Nevada does have many laws regarding towing and I have been working my way though them as I can.. Its a rather long linked page I have the the whole vehicle code section relating to towing among other issues..

As to the laws in regards to signs and permits and such yes they have those, and while it is a gated community they generally have signs posted at the entrances, along with some throughout the complex...

BUT A BIG KEY HERE is how the complex regulates parking which is spelled out in the rental - lease agreements... That would be the key point here and that would be something that is specific to the complex and I would not be able to find that out online at all...
But I bet that due to the large amount of "snow birds or part time residents" there is some provisions to allow for long term parking listed there.

Virginia has many laws regarding towing and while they are great, they do not apply or even come close to what would be applicable in other states... Add in the fact that some Cities do then to create additional laws governing towing from private property and you get even more confused.

The actual sign law for Nevada that I have listed is below...

Nevada
NAC 706.427 Authority to tow vehicles from private property: Display of signs on and marking of property. (NRS 706.171)

6. A sign or signs displayed on a parking lot pursuant to subsection 1 must:
