Towing Issues: Car parked is front of my house 60 days, local police department, time limit

My daughters x-boyfriend has his car parked in front of my house for almost 2 months now.  He left it in my driveway and I moved it to the street in front of my house.  I have no way of contacting him.  Is there a time limit when a car can set in one location and does not work.  What can I do or who do I call to get it out of in front of my house?

Contact your local police department, as most Cities have laws which limit parking from like 24 hours to 96 hours before they are considered abandoned vehicles... Since I do not know where you are I can not provide specific information, but that is the average on most areas.

They will most likely come out, ticket it and have it towed away.
