Towing Issues: Trailer weight?, foot trailer, prowlers

Hello, Im planning on buying a '94 Prowler TT, a 24 foot trailer and the owner doesnt know the weight of it. I was hoping you could help me out. Thanks for your time!~

Prowlers are still being made, but I could not find a new one less than 28'  It had a listed weight of about 5700 pounds.   Yours may be more because materials and methods keep getting better and lighter, but it would be less because it is shorter, so figure on between 4500 and 5500 pounds as a rough estimate?  It would be capable of having approximately 1500 more pounds of stuff inside.

There should be a plate on the front of the unit, either on the body or the frame that should list this information.
