Towing Issues: tow dolly, rear wheel drive, front wheel drive

will a 1/2 ton tow a 3500 +  car on a tow dolly  ? and can i put the front wheels on the dolly

Kevin, I would love to answer this question, but there is a lot more infomation needed to really provide an accurate answer.

1/2 ton what ?  van,  full size pickup, smaller import pickup ?

and car, what make and model are you trying to move with the tow dolly.. Front wheels up provide some protection if its a front wheel drive, but none if its rear wheel drive.

I am going to need more information to answer this question.
