Towing Issues: vehicle towed, small claims court, personal truck

My truck was towed from a parking lot shoping center recently because i leave it there while i'm at work. I park my utility vehicle there during the day & my personal truck there when i'm gone to work. There are tow signs around but no one left me a warning that vehicle would be towed & i have been leaving it there for 6 months. This particular nite i was working a double shift & it was towed at 2:45am. All stores are closed after midnite and usually no vehicles are left. I normally get off at 2300hrs. and am gone afterwards. Should they have left me a warning on my vehicle or is there any thing that i can do to recoupe my lost?

Well as much as I hate to say it, all the warning notice that you were given was the signs that state vehicles will be towed.
No written notice needs to be given, so even though the place is closed and no vehicle are left there after hours means that unfortunatly your out of luck.  You could try the small claims court route, but I feel that it would be a waste of time though..
