Toyota Repair: serpentine belt and tensioner

When changing serpentine belt is it necessary to change the tensioner also. For 2007 Corolla with 73000 miles. Belt squeaks on startup then quits.

Hello, this is a common problem on the corollas, the 2007 year has a much better designed tensioner and
should have updated part in it already (there was service bulletin issued by toyota) it's best to check with your dealer using the VIN#, if it has the updated part installed just get a new belt, I recommend the one from toyota, OEM,
