Toyota Repair: 2008 Prius stopped accelerating on hwy, 2008 prius, diagnostic computer

yesterday, my lights on my dash came on-the ck engine lt, the big triangle w the exclamation point, the vsc light, the tire pressure light, and the maint required light. about a mile after they all came on, the car simply wouldn't "go." The accelerator wouldn't work, and it eventually just rolled to a stop. The car was still on and the a/c worked fine. I turned all systems off and let it sit a minute, then turned it back on. I was able to accelerate again, the lights remained on, but within a few miles, it happened again, and this time, I felt that the brakes wouldn't stop me, either, and rolled into a stop onto the shoulder. I had her towed to the dealer to be looked at today. I am anxious to know what's going on w my favorite car, Dorothy. Can you help?

There are quite a few things that can cause this, the dealer will use the diagnostic computer to find the problem, I couldn't even begin to guess what the problem is without having some diagnostic code information, so in this case I recommend you wait for the dealers assesment of the problem.
