Toyota Repair: 94 Camry 4 cyl 2.2l no spark, crankshaft sensor, distributor cap

Question
We are currently on a long road trip and the car ran fine for the first8 miles, then suddenly sputtered, died, started once more then spuutered and will not start.
After checking the fuel pump and filter, we determined that it is not getting spark and replaced the distributor and coil asssembly (together).... and still no spark.
Where else should we look for the problem? Thought maybe a crankshaft sensor, but the only info I can find online lead to the 3.0 V6.
Thanks so much for your help in advance.

Answer
Hello, there is a possibility that the timing belt jumped on the pulleys or is broken completely, remove the distributor cap and see if the rotor turns when cranking the engine, if not the belt is broken, if it does turn the belt should be checked by trmoving the upper timing cover to see if it's loose and jumped a few teeth on the gears.
