Toyota Repair: 2003 Sequoia Rear Hatch Not Opening, perserverence, theft deterrent

Question
I have a 2003 Sequoia and already have had the infamous rear hatch handle break. I have fixed this but months later, the door will not open again.  After opening up the back door exposing the inards, it still won't open by pulling on the cable.  I hear parts clicking when pulling on the cable, but no unlocking sound.  I have made sure that the locks were in the unlock position.  How do I open the door now?  How do I remove the lock/cable assembly without opening the door?  Is there a way to do this? Looking forward to your response.

Regards,
Mike

Answer
This is very difficult and time consuming, the problem is that most likely the lock actuator is stuck, I have done this before by getting the window all the way up then you will basically have to break the theft deterrent housing that covers the actuator and force the actuator open, lots of perserverence and patience needed here but it's the only way to get the door open.
