Toyota Repair: brake light fuse, light fuse, light switch

My brake light fuse keeps blowing in my 2005 Echo..any suggestions as to why?

It's most likely a short circuit at the rear where the bulbs are, remve and check the bulb sockets, make sure the bulbs are matched to the sockets, look for any discolored or burned areasor burned wires,check to make sure the brake lights go off when the brake is released.
Does the fuse blow only when pushing the brake pedal or all the time, if it blows without using the brakes then the stop light switch could be the problem.
