Toyota Repair: AC blower/fan, a/c, fan

Question
when ac fan is running it is making a loud clicking noise form under dash area and if the fan blade is hitting something. It does not seem to be putting out at full power...if I turn fan speed up it lags and is very delayed in getting up to speed. What could this be and how serious or costly?

Sounds like Mr. Fan won't be with us much longer.  More than likely the fan Motor is the culprit.  Depending on what type of vehicle you have will determine how much interference needs to be removed from the dash to get to the fan /motor.  That will determine your costs.
