Toyota Repair: corolla inhibotor switch, inhibitor switch, grar

Question
Hi, I have got to fit an inhibitor switch( gear seletor switch) to 2000my corolla. Chassis no SB164ZEB20E018553 ( if any help) I have been repairing BMW's for 18 years but have never touched one of these. I don't have the part yet but would appreiciate any tips/guidence on where it goes and how to fit. Will be doing the job on Tuesday next week.
Regards  Richard

Answer
I think what you are referring to is what we call the neutral start switch, it's mounted to the outside of the transmission where the grar selector shaft attaches to the transmission near the radiator, ust remove the shift slector lever from the transmission, the switch has an electrical connector on it, after removing it loosen the 24mm nut on the center and the 10mm nut on the housing of the switch and pull it off.
