Toyota Repair: airbag light on, diagnostic system, oil leak

Question
I have just purchased a 95 Tercel that has only 77,000 miles ($1000, not bad huh).  I have addressed several smaller issues (oil leak, alignment etc).  The one issue that I think I will need to involve the dealer on is the airbag light.  I wanted to ask you if you thought perhaps there was something I should check before I invest the 2 or 3 hundred that the dealer will charge me to resolve the issue.  Thanks much for any advice.  God bless you.

Answer
The first thing the dealer will do, or should do, is to access the diagnostic system to see what the trouble codes are and then let you know what the next step is, without me knowing any trouble codes it's not possible for to me even guess what the problem may be. If after going to the dealer you still need advice please get back to me.
