Toyota Repair: REPLACING FRONT END ROTORS 1990 Toyota 4WD, toyota 4wd, c shape

Question
The repair manual was not so clear how to remove the FRONT END HUB of 1990 Toyota 4WD. I am stuck after I removed the(6 bolt) 12mm nuts, then there are also like  C- shape lockwasher attached to the plate almost close to the bolt stud where the nuts came from. in this situation I cannot take it off the circular plate so that I can pull out the rotors.
Ted, Do I have to hit it hard with a hammer the round plate to separate the round (A.D.D) plate from the HUB?
Will I break something if I do that, is this OK to hammer it?
WILL YOU PLEASE HELP ME!!
Thank you very very Much.

Answer
The cone shaped retainers can be removed by carefully hammering on the edges on the round plate near each cone, put the nuts back on a few threads so the cones don't fly off, once the cones pop out and the hub cover is off you will either have to remove a 12mm bolt in the center of the axle or a snap ring on the end of the splined axle, sometimes it has both.
