Toyota Repair: 93 4x4 truck 22re Starts but wont run, air flow meter, air flow sensor

Question
This is a vehicle I drive 75 miles a day. One morning it took three times to finally start running (usually starts right up), I drove for a five minutes, parked.  8 hours later tried to start, it would start and run for a few seconds then stop.  After checking vacuum connections and plugs, it would only crank and not run at all.
I replaced the fuel filter. Cap, rotor.  Plugs (Bosch Platinum)looked fine, but not wet.  Has spark, has signal to the cold start injector and #1 injector (I didn't check them all), changed the fuel pump in case it was weak, jumped and checked it. Checked the resistance to the Coolant temp sensor and the cold start sensor, the cold start sensor was high, so I changed it with one that reads at around 30 at 65 degrees F, as per the Haynes manual. Checked for error codes, but it wasn't giving me any flashes. I tested the resistance on the air flow sensor and got readings consistent with the Haynes manual. I pulled the air intake off and shot some starting fluid in.  It started right up and then died.  The few seconds it ran, it sounded fine, not like a timing chain had broken or anything. I'd rather not bring it to the dealer. What should I check next?

Answer
It acts like the air flow meter connector is not connected, I'm not saying it is, it just acts the same, it also acts like there is a large vacuum leak, possibly in the intake air hoses from the throttle body to the air filter, check the air flow meter door on the inside of the housing, make sure it can be moved open.
