Toyota Repair: 2005 Totyota Highlander back window off track, plastic tabs, totyota

The rear passenger side window came off the door track.  I took the door apart and got the window on the track, but everytime I roll it up it comes off the track.  I have watched the window go up (looking in from the bottom of the door) and at a certain point the plastic stay comes out of the end of the track.  Is there an adjustment or did a part come off that keeps the stay in the track?  Your expertise is appreciated!

On the bottom of the window are two plastic tabs that bolt to the window regulator, is one of them the plastic stay you are referring to? If it is the window needs to be replaced. With the window disconnected from the regulator are you able to slide the window up and down by hand without it coming out of the channels?
