Toyota Repair: water coming inside car, carpet padding, inner edge

Question
I hope you can help!!  I have a 98 Corolla. When it rain my carpet and carpet padding get soaked.  It is much worse when the car in parked on a hill with the front lower than the back.  I found the source of the drip by running a hose over the top of the car.  It is actually coming in on both the passenger and drivers sides in a fast stream at the bottom of the moulding that runs along the inner edge of the door.  It's a few inches from the floor.  What puzzles me is that the hose was only on the passenger side of the car and going down the windshield but the water was coming in on both sides inside the car not just the passenger side.  For this reason I do not believe it's a door seal or any seal on the side of the car.  I also have a sunn roof.  I have a feeling it's the water that runs off the windshield and down the firewall, but I do not know what to do.  Please help.

Answer
I would check the sunroof drains first.
I assume its a factory roof?

Blow them out with compressed air or blow thru a hose and clear them. There in the four corners.
it may be overflowing the tray and running inside the headliner and down the A pillars.
