Toyota Repair: Supra antenna motor runon, mtor, wiring diagrams

Question
I've replaced the antenna relay on my '89 Supra.  Now it doesn't energize when I turn the key on when the radio is off.  However it still has an eight second run-on where the motor still turns after the antenna is either extended or retracted.  Very annoying but it now only does it when I turn the radio on or off.  Is there a sensing clutch of some sort that is bad?  Do you have any experience with this?  I'm fairly mechanically adept and am half tempted to tear it all apart.  I put a new mast on two years ago when I bought it and it started this runon about three months ago.  Thanks, Gene

Answer
They tend to get a mind of there own.
If the mtor goes fully up and fully down but runs on, thats a motor problem. The trigger wheel is missing the signal and the count is off so it doesnt know its all the way up or down and runs on.

The other problem with the not turning on with the key, is because its not getting a signal, or not interpreting it from the ignition switch.

You can get wiring diagrams from www.techinfo.toyota.com.
Youll have to use a 90 or 91 doesnt go back to 80's.
