Toyota Repair: shaking, cv joints, drive axles

Question
I have a 1991 Celica when you reach 60 the car shutters like a tire is out of balance. But when you let of the gas it stops and as soon as you touch the gas it resumes gas on shutters gas off no shutter. Any thoughts! Also when temp is cold the trans will not shift into 4th gear for about 3/4 of a mile or so.  Thank You! Dale

Possibly worn inner CV joints on the drive axles, check the inboard CV joints for excessive up/down movement and replace the one that is the worst and see if it helps.  
Not sure on the trans problem, may be that the transmission is starting to go out, try changing the fluid.
