Toyota Repair: change in fuel consumption, odometer readings, injector cleaner

My wife's '04 4Runner SR5, 2WD V6 with auto trans has slowly been consuming more and more fuel with less and less mileage. Less than a year ago, we could fill the tank and the gas guage would read between 390 and 405 miles. Now it reads 330 when full. Nothing has changed as far as driving conditions, etc. I have some basic mechanical knowledge and I checked a few things such as the tire pressure and the air filter. I am going to keep track of both the odometer readings and the gas guage readings to see if there is any inconsistency. Any thoughts?

disconnect the battery for the night.
Hook up in the morning.
There is a learning block in the ecu that, if reset, may get you back to better fuel economy.
Also might want to try some injector cleaner.
Dont forget to check the normal things, plugs air filter etc.
