Toyota Repair: 1999 4runner rear driver window, jumper wire, volt source

Question
My electric window on the rear driver's side is down and will not roll back up. Do not believe it is the switch, as we have tried swapping one windows switch for the down one without success. There is no noise or anything. We have the door off and are unable to proceed any further. Any suggestions on how to return the window to the up position? Ideally without purchasing new motor at this time... Not concerned with getting use, just having window up.

Thanks so much and happy day.

Since the rear door panel is already off check the power window motor by applying 12 volts directly to it, disconnect the motor wires from the connector, the wires are green and red, you will need a 12 volt source, either from a seperate battery or with a jumper wire from the on car battery, aplly the positive 12volt wire directly to one of the motor terminals, either the red or green, and ground the other wire, if nothing happens reverse the connections, of still nothing, the motor needs to be replaced.
The only way to get the window up without replacing the motor is to remove the bolts holding the window on to the regulator which is no possible with the window all the way down, you will have to remove all of the 10mm bolts that connect the window regulator to the metal door panel, you can then move the entire assembly up so you can get to the 10mm bolts that connect the window to the regulator, once they are off and the window can be moved up to the closed position find something to block the window up with or tape it in place.
