Toyota Repair: Alarm, alarms, factory alarm

Question
Is there a way to disengage factory alarm? It does not work correctly, it keeps the vehicle from starting. It does not respond to the remote.  1994 T-100 w/ v-6.

Its inegrated into the vehicle.
I have seen few if any problems with these alarms. Have you checked the remote?
They have a tester at the dealer. You just aim the remote at it and it tells you if its puitting out a signal. Usually done for free.
