Question
i have a 1996 toyota camry 2.2 l 4 cylinder manual transmision that i cant seem to rip out the passenger side axle i removed it from the rotor and all that i also took off the like opened end washer thing you got to clamp on to get it out of the slot but i cant pull the axle out i tried removing the mount with it but i cant. is there something else that needs to be done or a special way to rip it out do you have a ideas or anything at all

Answer
There is a snap ring in the bearing housing that connects to the block, have you removed it, if not you will need to do so, the axle is pried out of the transmission with large prybars, yes it can be difficult but it's the only way it will come out of the transmission.
