Toyota Repair: 95 toyota 4runner locating engine coolant temperature sensor, coolant temperature sensor, engine coolant temperature sensor

Hi--i have a small problem. My toyota 4runner  engine coolant temperature gauge is not working,I'm am thinking that the engine coolant temperature sensor is faulty,But my question is that I can't located temperature sensor on the engine block--wondering can you tell me where to locate the coolant sensor on a 95 4runner v6,3 liter.

The temp sensor is located at the very rear of the engine behind the intake manifold, the is an aluminum housing that has a bunch of sensors and a coolant hose on it, the temp sensor is to the left and it has only a single wire connector, don't confuse it with the ecu temp sensor wich has a two wire green connector.
