Tractor Repair: 7140 shifting hesitates, clutch packs, jd dealer

My Case IH 7140 MFWD tractor has lots of hesitation between gears when I am shifting.(all gears). with or without a load. I had the accumulators filled to 90 psi at a local JD dealer,no case dealer close, didn't help. Otherwise tractor pulls fine once in gear.
Your help on this problem would be really appreciated.

Only way to really check this condition out is to install pressure gauges in the shift valve. If the pressure is coming up steady and still banging then you have internal problems with clutch packs. If the pressure is just on with a bang then you might have problems in your shift valve itself. I have seen this problem in the shift valve but have also seen it in the clutch packs also.  Its a crap shoot if you don't have gauges.
