Tractor Repair: FORD 3000, lightning bolt symbol, generator voltage regulator

Question
There is a red light on my Fords instrument panel on the left side, that looks to have a symbol of a lightning bolt on it. It comes on after about an hour of working the tractor. What warning is it telling me. It also lights up when you turn on the switch, along with another light, but I know that is normal.  Thank you

Hello,

  The lightning bolt symbol is the charging system indicator.  It is telling you that the battery is not charging because of a problem with the alternator or generator, voltage regulator, etc.  Check all the connections and wires, and have the charging system tested.  The battery will go dead if you keep running it with the light on.
