Triumph Repair: 1973 tr6, zenith carb, tr 6

I have a tr6 with 2 stromberg 175 cd-2 zenith carb,s It has been 10 years since I drove the car. the carb,s are fuel frozen.I need to rebuild them. The kits do not include -2. what is the difference between 175 cd and 175 cd-2 ? thank you steve

Hi Steve,
The 2-SE was used on the 71 TR-6. The 73 TR-6 used the SEV. Not a lot of difference as far as a rebuild kit. The only thing I would be concerned about would be the metering needle number/letter. Many kits don't come with metering needles anyway. Just look at the number/letter on your needles and get the same needles.
