Triumph Repair: rear Brake Line Bracket on the frame - MISSING!, wheel cylinder, metal tubing

Question
Hi,

I've just purchased a 79 Spit 1500. during the vehicle inspection I have just had completed it was stated that the bracket which supports the rear brake line (assuming they mean the metal tubing) is missing.

Does anyone have a spare Right Rear bracket or can supply me with a pic or sketch of this item so I can get one manufactured?

thanks

Larry

Answer
Larry, If I could see it I could tell you right away.If it is one holding the line on the frame it looked like a little folded piece of metal and I think tack welded to the frame.later ones I think were plastic. It could be one near the rear wheel cylinder that bolts to the rear suspension. If you go to Victoria British.com/ search page 135 and look at the brake parts I don't think the brackets are there but i think some are shown.I use thier catalog for reference if i can't find it in me books.
