We have a 1994 4.0 xj6 auto that has a problem with the blower and radio staying on after the ignition is turned off draining tha battery.Have you come across this before and if so how do we rectify. We have had a new battery fitted but still have the problem.

No I have never had this.  Sometimes, in electronic cars when a fuse blows in a circuit it can cause odd effects in other circuits. Check all of the fuses are in fact good. On this model I often noticed that when the car was switched off the AC system continued to work for a few seconds, as if some kind of capacitor or a relay was operating!!  Otherwise, I would suspect the ignition switch or the body control module.
