Hi. I've just brought my Astra CDti, it has 77,000 miles and was wondering if you'd advise a cam belt change?

Do you have a service history with the car?  If it hasn't been done or you're unsure have it checked.  A mechanixc can check the belt without pulling everything off, so they can advise you as to whether it is old or not.  When you do it ask them about the water pump amd idler pulleys.
