UK Car Repair: citroen zx aura 1.9td heating problem, citroen zx aura, heater valve

Question
Thanks for getting back but all that has been done by citroen and they still havent been able to fix the problem.

I have a 1995 Citroen zx aura 1.9TD which has a heating problem. It only blows out cold air even when the engine is hot. the radiator is fine and the fans work ok. Citroen have had not luck in solving the problem. The thermostat has been changed, and now the water system builds up pressure which makes the car overheat so the thermostat has to be removed if i want to use the car. can you help

Why is it overheating?  It sounds like there is a blockage in the system preventing circulation. perhaps the radiator. This should be dealt with first. As for the heater, look for the heater valve by following the smaller hoses from the water pump.  With the car hot, both sides of the valve should be hot, see if the valve is moving when the heater is switched on, if it is a bad valve it can be by bypassed temporarily with a connector.

Answer
As I said previously, you have to attend to the overheating problem first, why is the engine overheating?  It seems there is a blockage somewhere, the radiator or engine block are the two most likely suspects. When you say that "Citroen" has done all that, what do you mean?  There is a blockage and it has to be found!
