Volkswagen Repair: Headlight bulb out on drivers side, new beetle, good luck

I own a 2001 New Beetle Turbo.  The drivers side head light went out with very litte night driving and only 13,000 miles on the car.  My husband has worked on our cars forever and is knowledgable in repairs.  We don't have a repair manual for this car yet and want to know how to replace the bulb in the head light on the driver's side.  Can you help?

Slide the lever down on the side of the headlight housing, this will release the light.  Replace the bulb from the back, once light is removed. Do not touch the glass part of the bulb! Lubricate mechanism when reassembling.
