Volkswagen Repair: Cabriolet Oil Cooler, vw cabriolet, vw owners

Hey, I've got an 89 VW Cabriolet and the oil cooler has a leak.  It's going to be $491 to have it replaced at the dealership.  I can get one that's almost new at a junk yard for $45.  I'm just not sure how to take it off and put the new one on.  Can you help?

I can't swear on it but I believe it unscrews like the oil filter does.  Same kind of oil ring.  Only did it once, or did I??????????Junkers the way.......they should know, do they not? or an oil change place or another vw owner.
