Volvo Repair: Door open chime will not stop...., check fuse, volvo 940

I have a 1994 Volvo 940. My battery went dead and I had to replace it along with the adding new clamps to attach to the terminals. Once I did this the car started right up, but my radio would not work and the door open chime will not stop dinging. I got the code for my radio, but I have been unable to stop this horrible noise. The fuse for it is the same as the radio and interior lights. Please let me know what I can do. Thank you.

Mike, Remove the ashtray assembly.  Remove the cover for the lighter.  Remove the 2 screws and take that tray out.  Now look for the big blue chime relay and pull it out.  Check fuse 5 again and see if its blown.  You can either get a new chime relay or leave it out. Roger
