Volvo Repair: 1990 740 turbo hard wiring a new radio, power antenna, orange wire

Question
I have a 1990 740 volvo turbo and the radio is gone and so is the plug harness. I have a new stereo that I would like to put in but I can't figure out the color codes of the wires in the car. One wire is green with a red stripe, orange wire, yellow wire, black wire, yellow wire with a white stripe, a light blue wire and it looks like a green wire with a grey or white stripe. Could you please help thank you.

Answer
Nathan, Use a test light to figure out the memory power and Keyed power.  Usually this is the scheme.  Red or yellow is power.  Blue is the power antenna. Black is ground. The striped wires are usually the speaker wires.  Test them by using a 9v battery and listen for the speakers to make noise.  Example try the yellow/gray wire on the pos and yellow/white on the neg.  If the left front speaker makes a noise then that is the combination for the LF speaker.  If you are confused or need more help, get back to me.  Roger
