Volvo Repair: clean air mass meter, volvo masters, silver meter

I have a 1993 240 volvo and it has been running rough.  My mechanic found a mouse nest in the air filter and changed the filter.  He said I may need an air mass meter and if it did not run well that was the fix.  I have found discussions about cleaning it and want to try that.  I have carburetor cleaner so clean the filter.  How do I get at it?  A picture of what I remove and where  would really help.  thank you

Dan, Do NOT use Carb clean on the airmass meter.  It will mess it up and then a new meter for that year car is roughly 400 bucks.  Used ones are getting rare and you dont know what you are getting.  Not sure who these discussion groups are but they cant be Volvo Masters.  Remove the silver meter.  Its pretty simple.  One 10mm bolt and 2 clamps.  Roger
