Volvo Repair: S40 2001 wont run, volvo specialist, cam sensor

Lately the car takes a few cranks before it starts, then today it starts but it turns off after 2 seconds, ay ideas, I changed the Cold start kit and still the same problem .. Thanks

Del, without scanning this car, it can be anything.  These cars are not like the old days.  You have to scan these cars for everything.  I would only be guessing but you may be having a cam sensor problem or possible airmass meter.  Roger

Del, A Volvo Specialist shop or dealer would be the best. They have the proper scanning equipment.  Roger
