Volvo Repair: Replacemet of 1987 Volvo Clutch Cable, volvo 740 gle, nylon piece

1987 Volvo 740 GLE
The nylon piece of the cable broke under the car.
Replacing the cable will require the removal and attachment to the clutch pedal.  How to remove and attach the cable to the pedal is my question?
It is a reach and the small bracket in the way can be loosened but it is very difficult to see.

Dave, they arent too bad but you have to have the cable not attached to the fork on the trans.  Cable must be loose to do it in the car.  This one is tricky.  I use a long needle nose to remove the clip and pin.  Then you can pull the cable out from the engine bay area.  I wish I could tell you more but a flashlight and a mirror may help you see it.  Roger
