Question1988 740 turbo wagon. when i get up in the 60-70 mph range,
i feel a vibration in the steering wheel, much stronger than
normal. also, when i am at a complete stop and turn the wheel
it feels stiff and is very hard to turn. any ideas?
Answerit could be an out of balance tire or bad tire or bent wheel.the steering could be many things from poor pressure from bad pump,bad rack,also it could be a bad ball joint or upper strut bearing also it could be a bad steering knuckle.as you see it could be many things and should be looked at for a proper diagnosis.
