Volvo Repair: transmission shift lever (gear selector) replacement, shift lever, drivers seat

Hi,
I have a 2000 V70XC and I need to remove and replace the shift lever,located in the center console,due to the lever button being cracked, which may not allow the gear selector to move.

 Also, I have a burnt out bulb under the shift console that needs replacing and need assistance in doing this.

pull shifter leather cover down from lever handle it is clipped to the handle.shift the lever to nuetral,then pull the handle straight up it just pulls off.open center console then inside is a cover panel remove this and the 2 8mm bolts.then remove cover around parking brake.lift lever then pull the brake cover towards the drivers seat.then pull it off the hand brake lever.then under this cover is a connector disconnect this and the console will lift up at the back then slide backwards to remove it.
