Volvo Repair: battery light on + no blinker !!!!, fuse box, air conditionning

Question
Hi, I am the owner of a 1983 240 DL. Last week, a fuse kept on blowing, disabling me to start the car. I took it to the shop. They actually disconnected the air conditionning (and power steering) which was creating a short. The problem was solved... Yesterday night, I start my car, turn my lights on, start going on, but when I want to turn my blinker on, the blinker didnt want to work and the battery light lit up. No blinker would work! I had a look at the fuse box this morning. One of them was blown (#13). I changed it. I start my car again, the blinkers all work!! Drive down my street and then, same problem as yesterday (no blinker, and battery light on). Though the fuse didnt blow this time... Some people told me it could be the battery or the alternator. What do you think? Thanks for your answer...

Answer
First, I'm sorry for the delay getting to your question.  I have been in orlando for the past few days for XC90 V8 training and have been unable to take emails.

You have some electrical output shortcoming.  It could be the battery or alternator or both.  You can get both checked at autozone or other part store for free.  Once you get those fixed, or verify that they are okay, then let me know and I'll help with the blinker problem.  Hopefully they are related.  Hope that helps.
