Volvo Repair: horn problem, volvo 850, horn button

Question
Regis,

I just bought a 1993 Volvo 850 w/ 157,000 miles. I test-drove it for 3 days, and the horn worked fine. I took it for a pre-buy inspection yesterday, and now my horn is no longer working. I believe it may have become accidently unplugged. How can I check/fix this? Where is the plug located?

Thanks,
Leah

Answer
the hornes are jsut behind the grill.if you lift the hood you will see them.you would need to check for a power and ground to the horns.power is constant adn ground is supplied when the horn button is pressed.most common is the steering wheel insulators go bad and the horn sounds constant so then people usually diconnect the horns.
