BMW: 1985 BMW 325e Power Windows, 1985 bmw 325e, bmw 325e

Question
My car had been sitting for about 2.5 years and I have been driving it since this past February. The power windows seem to not be working, but I've had a friend check the power to the switch and the motor and there's power getting to both. I don't know if I'm not getting enough power...? or perhaps the motor is just stuck from sitting? and perhaps one motor is broken? (I can hear the driver's side window trying to work, but it won't budge) Please let me know if you can help. I have a manual that tells me how to remove the motor if necessary, but it seems that I can't remove the clips and the window trim at the bottom of the window... I'm not going to try prying them up just yet (it was suggested that they were glued on really good.)

Sorry to ramble on, but thanks for any help you can provide.

Answer
Geoffrey,
Chances are that the motors are just locked up.  You can remove one of them, then plug it back into it's wiring harness and use the window switch to see if it's working.  if its weak, then you probably need to replace them.

 Good luck,
 Josh
