BMW: bmw remake, bmw 3 series, bmw 325

Question
hello there,
i am gonna buy a 1994 bmw 325, and i want to completely redo it. I have a question since ur an expert and me not so much, is it actually possible for me to buy a better engine like a powerful one or a supercharger and put it in, like which ones are compatible... if you could explain it to me that'd be great
thanks

Answer
Yes... a 1995 m3 engine 3.0L 240hp is a direct fit... wiring harness and all will work since its OBD1..but this swap is expensive as M3 engine and transmission sell for over 3k...

Any 1992 - 1999 BMW 3 series off the same number of doors as yours will fit just about every part on your car. The M3 is the upgraded version of your car. Better engine, differential, interior, skirts, suspension, bumpers etc...

But once again m3 parts are expensive...ebay is good for stuff like that though.

if anything ever brakes or needs replacing on the car go with the M3 part... slowly upgrade it i guess.

Turbo is an option but those are a couple of thousands as well. Nitrous is cheap but not very safe on your engine.

You can do basic bolt ons, intake exhaust chip and get a good 20hp but I think your at 190 now.

1 thing to remeber is that BMW has TORQUE so it will rape a honda of equal HP... I have a 1992 325i (4door) with chip intake and exhaust I own just about any 240 hp import but mine only has about 210hp now. you get the point.

If you havent baught the car I would tell u to buy an M3 or a 1992 325i (has the M50 motor) a little bit quicker.

Feel free to AIM me (mrbubbles81) if you have anymore questions, I have fully tuned mine to match the 1998 M3 Sedan (4door) but it has costed me a bit of change... Im actually thinking about selling mine. and getting an M3 hit me up we can work something out...
