BMW: BMW 318i c 1995, spark plug gap, bmw 318i

Question
Kenneth- I hope you don't mind but I have 3 questions:

1. I couldn't find the spark plug gap spec in my shop manual. Can you advise?

2. I have 55000 miles on my car and it has Bosch
two prong spark plugs that still look good. Are these rated for more than 55000 miles?

3. The round rubber piping around the plastic convertible window is coming off apparently due to the drying out of the factory glue. Can you recommend an adhesive to use for it. Would it cause a problem if I just left the piping off?

thank you so much for your help.

Answer
You need to replace the window for the piping, it comes on the plastic window. If you pull it off i dont really see a problem with it, other than aestheically. The two pronged plugs will run for around 100,000 miles as a general rule even though the change interval is shorter. There is not a gap specified for multiple electrode plugs.
