When the A/c is running and the car is idling the COOLING FAN FAULT shows up on the Information Center? What does this mean? 1988 Eldorodo..

Check your computers for fault CODES via:

1. Ignition ON. Engine OFF.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons on your climate control panel for 3 seconds and release them.

3. Diagnostic codes will appaer in the form of LETTERS/NUMBERS on the display.

4. Write down these LETTERS/NUMBERS exactly as if you were video-taping them. Some LETTERS/NUMBERS combinations may appaer 2 or 3 times. I need to know EXACTLY how each number displays until they stop displaying when you see .7.0

5. Shut OFF ignition.
