Cadillac: Error Message, intermittent fault, security problem

Hello,

My 1999 Eldorado ETC quivered very briefly at a light, recovered, rode and ran fine after. A few minutes later I saw "Security problem, might not start." Car starts, but I am concerned. This was on the way home from picking it up from the dealer that I had just bought it from!

Car runs strong, smooth and straight. Nice car overall, with some minor issues that I expected for this year and 80k. THIS has me concerned though.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

You have an intermittent fault in the theft system that needs to be diagnosed by the dealer as they have the test box to test the system. Get it fixed ASAP as one of these times the car will not start. Possibly this is why the previous owner traded it in ?.
