1991 Cadillac Sedan DeVille
Air Conditioner Compressor, dryer, etc. replaced three years ago.

My DeVille has automatic controls on the A/C and heating system.  No matter what you set, the defroster works constantly.  The car cools and heats, but the A/C blower will only go through the ducts for the defroster.  The cooling, therefore, is not very satisfactory.  Is the problem in the controls or in the air control baffles?

Your problem is more likely to be the vacuum supply line to the programmer.

Locate the vacuum line that goes thru the firewall and into the passengers compartment and back track it towards the engine. You will most likely find a split, loose or faulty vacuum connection.
